Scream

I came across this post on my Instagram feed, and it articulated so much of how I’ve been feeling. The author writes: “I woke up angry, sad, confused, and in shock. I immediately thought of how my 18 year old daughter, who was so excited to vote, called me last night to be sad with me. I thought of all of my friends who are marginalized and don’t have the privilege I do. I tried to scream with my vote. But it wasn’t enough. I’ll grieve. But my next step is to figure out how to scream louder.” @jusm
